EFL 2016/17, incorporating Championship, League 1 & League 2

Nasty Leeds one up against fellow fallen giants Aston Villa. Poor enough stuff, although Leeds probably slightly the better team

Kodija levels for Villa from the spot

Leeds hit the bar! Frenetic finish in store.

Charlie Mulgrew has just scored a freekick (dodgy keeper) to put Blackburn 1-0 up at home to Newcastle. He also scored the winner against them at Mike Ashley Park earlier in the season.

Slab on to try to salvage something for Newcastle late on.

Brighton have come from behind to lead at Fulham. Two goals in a minute.

Leeds are battering Rotherham 3-0.

Reading have won it 3-2 at Bristol City at the death after being 2-0 down.

Can we sort out that Coventry video?

John Sheridan sacked by the Magpies board

A wonderful victory for Wolves in tribute to the late, great Graham Taylor.

Conversely, an abject performance by Aston Villa which was an insult to the memory of the late, great Graham Taylor.

The conclusion to the Championship this season is going to epic. Two from Newcastle, Brighton and Leeds to go up automatically and it’s shaping up to be a superb battle to get into the play-offs.

Fulham are my bet for the playoffs.

Big win for Chris Hughtons Brighton and Hove Albion there against the Owls.

Smashing own goal by the Owls. The football equivalent of an in off in the snooker.

Lovely red card there at the end

Save of the year from Stockdale for the pelanty and rebound.

Sunderland will be back here soon, two down at West Brom.

I’d like to see Newcastle get promoted.

Irish click bait sites will be seething that Horgan was back on the bench for Preston today at Villa. They’re currently 2-0 down.
