oh jesus, its scary at times, he’s like a JCB been driven out of control, he just knocks people over and the ball tends to ricochet off him at random
an absolute bombscare
Fulham, after their last gasp injury time equaliser at home to Leeds in midweek, are thumping Newcastle 3-0 away from home today. They’re closing in on play-off places now with Reading and Sheffield Wednesday in 5th and 6th respectively both looking vulnerable. Brighton won last night and in midweek too and seem to have gotten over their recent wobble which included the freakishly unlucky home defeat to Newcastle and losses either side of it. Still looks like it’ll be Newcastle and Brighton to go up automatically but Huddersfield are winning today and are still in the shake up.
Newcastle have faltered a bit, but the wins over their two main rivals (Brighton & Huddersfield) in the same week should get them automatic promotion. If they had dropped points in either of those, they’d be in a spot of bother.
Brighton were marginally the better team in a tight game of few chances and were seeing it out relatively comfortably until the ridiculously jammy equaliser.
Fulham are 2-0 up away to Norwich and will overtake Sheffield Wednesday on goal difference in 6th place if the Owls can’t break the deadlock at home to Cardiff. Wednesday host Fulham on the last day of the season and it could be a play-off to make the play-offs.
