Villa win again … look to be safely in the play-offs now … if there were a few more games left they’d nearly squeeze automatic promotion the way they are going.

Jose Gomes and his Reading charges now lie 6 points above the relegation places and a goal difference of 13 better than Rotherham with just 2 games to.
He’s done a fantastic job since taking over from that fraud Paul Clement. He has effectively secured survival with 2 games to spare after Clement left the post as Reading’s worst permanent manager in their history, statistically.

That’s Norwich more or less up. Only a mathematical chance of Leeds catching them. Sheffield United will be up as well if they beat bottom of the table Ipswich next Saturday.
Leeds were abysmal. Bad weekend all round there for Matt Cooper.
