We need a song to honor the goalpost that saved Insigne’s shot.

The King

You can argue that the expansion of teams has weakened the standard of football but the scenes last night and after Iceland’s last minute goal were unreal and make it worth while. As @caoimhaoin said, this is a festival and it is great to see the smaller nations get a taste of it… The country will be stood still for 3 hours Sunday and the win on penos will be epic…

What sort of Eire presence will there be in the stadium on Lyons on Sunday? Do any proportion of tickets for knock out game get held for sale until it becomes clear what the pairings are. If not, presumably, the French public would have snapped pretty much all the tickets months back?

A small amount are held back I think… I met a good few optimistic heads that had gone and bought/selected the second round package… No doubt we will be out numbered but I expect a decent crowd to be there, mate.

It’ll be like the mircale of the loaves and fishes when Munster’s Red Army took over Lansdowne Road from under the noses of the natives for the 2006 Heineken Cup semi final.

:joy: :joy:

6 minutes long, but if even to watch the last minute or so with Coleman walking around the pitch

I’m in tears laughing at this, everyone in the office is looking at me.
