Energy Crisis

Someone does

@glasagusban ?

Who would sabotage the line and why?

Would it not be in Russias interest to keep the line active to keep funding the special military operation.

The US are always top of every list. Shur haven’t their gas exports to Europe rocketed and their economy in general/ dollar are flying it since it kicked off.

No use in asking, the answer is nobody knows

Eamon Ryan on Twitter: “Good news. An extraordinary meeting of the EU energy council has agreed measures which will allow us redirect some of the windfall gains in the gas & electricity markets to Irish households and businesses. We are also being asked to agree ways to cut peak hour demand. #Solidarity https://t.co/VJXbCrAScr” / Twitter

96% of demand yesterday was being met by wind energy.
Yet we can’t avail of the benefits of that in terms of pricing.

The lad from eirgrid on morning Ireland this morning was bloody excellent. Great to hear a lad on top of his brief and answering questions.

He said there was a chance of blackouts but would take a confluence of events such as a very cold day in January and no wind and the interconnector not providing enough power

We are ducked of a windless cold day in January.

I was editing that in at same time
