Trevor Sinclair indicated last week that he had a tinge of regret not declaring for the Republic of Ireland. I’d imagine there was an element of hyperbole to it as I’d never realised before that he had such an attachment to Ireland.

I’d believe he has and a lot more in the same bracket. Maddison for example, wouldnt surprise me if he finished with 1 England camp.
He brought his kids Irish dancing every week in the Irish club in Islington when playing for Arsenal, he considered himself Irish almost

On the morning of the Germany match, it was a Sunday, the place was festooned with flags, hanging off every tent and caravan, England shirts everywhere, we went to Bournemouth for the day to visit a couple we knew, when we arrived back to the css add modiste a few hours after the game ended it was as if nothing at all was happening, every flag was gone, the jerseys were tucked away in the suitcases,
