Your point being that their current set up is very rigid. Southgate to his credit has them well drilled/organized but they don’t have the players to open a team up. Getting Young off the starting team for Rose would be a start and I’d fuck Lingard off for Vardy. Vardy is an honest old school grafter and wont stop running. You need that fight at this level. Lingard is a fanny with an awful first touch… Their midfield is the big problem and I’m not sure it can be fixed with the players they have.
That’s a very specific measurement

I think you could have a proper old school front two with Kane and Vardy.
