Watched some of this after the football had finished and England were impressive. They pretty much bullied Wales around the park after Wales had stood up to them for the first 10 minutes or so - putting in some late tackles and the likes.
Perry ran riot at scrum half, but he was marked by Cooper who’s behind Phillips and Peel in the pecking order. Still he played well, breaking from scrums and rucks with ease.
England’s backs didn’t get much ball because really they just destroyed Wales up front and so the ball never came back. Having said that the little bit of ball they did get they weren’t overly impressive with - a bit like South Africa.
Two understrength teams so it’s tough to read too much into it but I’m kind of glad England hammered them. They’re always at their most vulnerable when they think they’re untouchable.
