English Football League (incorporating EFL Championship, League One, League Two & non-league teams)

A hat trick for Dom tonight away to FA Cup winners Wimbledon at Plough Lane as the Orientalists lead 2-4 with proceedings being on the blow.

Coventry nearly there

A late winner for Millwall against Middlesbrough in the big 2 v 3 clash at Ayresome Park to move up into 2nd and the automatic promotion places.

All roads lead to Wembley next week for the Vertu Cup. Stockport County v Luton Town - the Hatters v the Hatters! Luton have a great Wembley record probably because it’s less than an hour away whereas Stockport’s is poor where they have to get pony and cart over several hours to the big smoke. Luton are starting to come back into some decent form and hopefully super Jack’s big game mentality will see us lift the silverware.

Fun fact: Luton are called the Hatters as they were once owned by railway magnate Sir Topham Hatt.

Celebrity Luton fan Stephen Yaxley-Lennon adopted the name Tommy as young boy in tribute to one of Sir Topham Hatt’s steam engines. A lot of people refer to Tommy nowadays as a steamer and it’s strongly rumoured that Tommy himself has never lost his interest in young boys, and I don’t mean the Swiss football team.

Nick Owen is the undisputed Number 1 Luton Town celebrity fan. Think he might even have served a stint as Club Chairman as well.

Not sure who Anne Diamond supports.

Bellaghy GAC and Derry I believe.

Millwall 1 nil up

2 1 Norwich. Coventry almost there if this stays like this

A very bad day for Leicester City today. 10 years after winning the English First Division title it looks like they’re heading down to Division 3.

Sheffield Wednesday now just four points away from getting to level par after a good point at Fat Frank’s champions elect.

Ipswich looking inevitable for promotion spot number 2.

Soton are coming like a TRAIN.

Mad how it can completely fall apart like that for Leicester. Going from so well run to so shit. Still I’d say there’s a lot of mid table teams fans who’d take the one year of glory even it means a shit show after

The script writers are trying to make it dramatic for Wrexham to make the playoffs

To win just once

That would be enough

They have won each of the 3 English major trophy’s more recently than Arsenal

The Hull turnaround today was massive for them. Between the 2 of them for 6th imo.

An article in the past week showing how much clubs in the championship and lower down are losing.

Coventry all but up

Christ, you’d do well to read on after this opening

A total of £3bn and counting. That is how much Championship clubs have lost in the past 10 years.

To put it into perspective, for that amount you could buy a pie and a pint at a game 300 million times over.

Sheff Wednesday start next season with a 15 point deduction too :astonished:

The Wrexham dream of promotion for this season is nearly over… they were probably ahead of expectations anyways
