EPL 2009/2010 official thread

United were quality tonight. 5 goals and could have been a hell of lot more. Rooney, Valencia and Rafael all had great games.:clap::clap:

As good as theyve been all season. Valencia has been a revelation. super finish by him tonight. need a left sided midfielder. still not convinced by park who was v good tonight

Stoke 2 nil up against Fulham now after 34 minutes. Fulham have been pretty crap so far.

Scratch that. 3-0 now.

Only the second time Stoke have scored more than 2 goals in a game since they got promoted to the Premiership!

Those southern dandies from London were never going to enjoy a trip to Stoke-on-Trent on a snowy Tuesday evening, were they?

Andy Johnson is some waste of space. Good few irish lads playing. All doing well bar Delap. Duff with a goal.

Dempsey with a cracker

Duffs goal was more down to a deflection than anything else.

Dempsey with an assist and a goal here. He should have started.

Can’t agree with the Irish doing well. Kelly has been average. Whelan is only on 10 mins and hasn’t done much. Lawrence and Duff have been ok. Delap was taken off.

Think he is a decent striker by EPL standards. Good goal scoring record as well.

KIB is basing the ability of a player on 70 mins of play farmer. I thought you’d know how he operates by now!

Always thought he flattered to deceive, was good at Crystal Palace where they used to play him up front on his own and play it over the top to him so he could use his pace…Has been pretty shite anytime I have seen him for Everton/Fulham, scores an awful lot of penalties

He gets a good few goals though Puke. Having a striker like that can be the difference between going down and getting into the UEFA Cup.

The power of the EPL:

Barcelona playing Sevilla on the other side and you mongtards are watching Stoke City.

I’m watching the Yellow Bittern.

Good summation Puke. Had a yard of pace one time that has deserted him. Now he is a one paced plodder. Has nothing else to his game at all. Nevland should have been brought on earlier. Cant believe Hodgson paid 10m for him. Moyes must have taken his hand off.

Ref missed a blatant penalty near the end. Shawcross was idiotic there with his hand up. If ref had given it he could have expected a headbutt off Pulis later.

Of the Irish, thought Lawrence had a good game. Combined with Fuller well. Kelly I thought did well. Put in some great tackles, was a bit rash on the ball at times alright. Duff was good too. The Nordies Baird and Hughes were shocking. Hughes was back to his Villa form.

Is it true that Fulham are playing Baird centre midfield these days???

Ya Dickson Etuhu is injured :D. They were linked with Keith Andrews in the summer. They badly could do with some legs in the middle. Murphy is tidy on the ball but is one paced. Surely someone like Jenas could be persuaded to swap Whites.

Jamie O’Hara will be available in a few days time…

Ya could be a good call. Not sure how much money Fayed is throwing at Fulham these days. Lovely club. Was my local back in my London days.

Fulham v Portsmouth is off.

Liverpool have submitted an official request to the Premier League to postpone Sunday’s home game against Tottenham for safety reasons.

Bolton Wanderers and Sunderland is also under threat after the Sunderland’s Safety Advisory Group are discussing conditions in the area around the Stadium of Light.

Wigan Athletic’s football secretary, Stuart Taylor, says “Only freak weather between now and Saturday can prevent the Villa game from going ahead.”

The games at Arsenal, Birmingham City, Burnley and Hull City are all set to go ahead provided the safety of spectators attending the fixtures can be guaranteed.

Landon Donovan playing today.

Didn’t realise he has 120 caps for USA, and he’s still only 27
