EPL 2009/2010 official thread

Caldwell gets a straight red, moments after nearly conceding a penalty.

Harsh on him, Tevez is going in with his two feet, just not going to ground, and Caldwell is well entitled to make a strong challenge.

Very poor refereeing. If Tevez didn’t go with both feet then it wouldn’t be a decision to make. Ref sees that and Caldwell lunging and sends Caldwell off… very poor.

Funny how bad City are at the back. They’re playing against 10 men now and they’re still getting ripped apart. Bellamy and Tevez looking lively at the other end though.

Apparently Bellamy was over heard telling Moyes “you should of fucking jawed him” after his clash with Mancini.

And that’s just hilarious goalkeeping! What a fucking moron! Pure chickenshit.

Super Carlos…

Five games to go and it looks like it’s Chelsea’s title to lose. Remaining fixtures are as follows:

Chelsea:

Chelsea v Bolton
Tottenham v Chelsea
Chelsea v Stoke
Liverpool v Chelsea
Chelsea v Wigan

Man Utd:

Blackburn v Man Utd
Man City v Man Utd
Man Utd v Tottenham
Sunderland v Man Utd
Man Utd v Stoke,

Arsenal:

Tottenham v Arsenal
Wigan v Arsenal
Arsenal v Man City
Blackburn v Arsenal
Arsenal v Fulham

Hard to see Chelsea dropping many points from their run in without European Cup distractions.

Two early goals for Man City to keep the pressure up for fourth after Spurs slipped up earlier.

Make that 3 rocko, with burnley fans leaving after 7 minutes.
They should have their names taken and be banned for life.

Can see City tonking them by 5 or 6 here…

Big time. I’m gonna go with 8-1

Forgot to mention, great pace and determination from Bellamy for the second goal…Burnley keeper made a fucktard of himself for the third

Spurs still have to play Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal so the race for fourth is still wide open.

Hope City get fourth…No harm in them getting up there and shaking things up a bit…

shit marking but a cracking header from Vieira

0-5…wou;dn’t mind being in the burnley dressing room at h/t

Take that Burnley.

Not particularly that this is a balanced article but it brings a balance to a pretty sickening love in from MON’s media buddies over the past week. Paul Hayward a populist prat, may aswell have given MON a blowie in his ‘Big Interview’ in the Guardian (same guy credited Mourinho with Chelsea beating Man Utd FFS). MON has really milked the past week. Seemingly he loves it at Villa but on the other hand is on about needing to get an agent to realise his true value. Badly needed three points at the weekend but by all accounts another poor performance.

Bad day for the old guard of Liverpool and United today.

With City leading 3-1 at half time I reckon that’s surely 4th place gone from Liverpool.

Carlos on fire again today, albeit from a penalty and one that brushed off his boot on the way to the net. If City take 4th place watch them go mental in the transfer window.
