United upped the tempo around the half hour mark and had a five minute flurry where they had 2 or 3 attempts but there was nothing really clear cut. The tempo is pretty slow overall, like it was last week in the Manchester derby. Spurs will be happy enough going in level but I really think teams should have a go at United, like Bayern Munich did. Without Rooney and Ferdinand, that side is no better than Spurs’ eleven.
