No I’m arguing that you’re incorrect.
Just pointing out that VDS played in front of a weaker back four for most of the season and that Benitez had Liverpool set up with a flat back eight.
hart has been the best this season by a distance IMHO.

Should Hart be Englands number one goalie for the WC? Robert Green seems to be at this stage.
El Tel wreckons calamity should be Englands no.1 for the WC!
Fellas saying Reina is crap is absolutely insane. Hart is very good also, but haven’t seen a huge amount of B’Ham outside of highlights. But Reina is crap? Nah, not a chance.
I dont believe Liverpool have played a flat back 8, to my knowlege they play with 2 full backs, 2 central defenders, two holding midfielders, one midfielder pushed off the striker with 2 wide men.
I’m not sure how you’d fit 8 across a back line.
He’s right. IF its betw Green and James it should be James. Green is a liability.
England are fucked. Lets all laugh at them.
You’re wrong there MBB. Liverpool have played a flat back eight with Gerrard sitting in the holding role and Torres / Ngog offering support to the full-backs
Yea, but yea.
I think Schwarzer and Gomes were worth a shout as this seasons best keeper myself
City are in fair bother now for a keeper. Trying to get Martin Fulop on emergency loan
I see the Faroe islands keeper came on the other day,Brian Kerr will be delighted!
Fair play to the chap, but how on earth did he end up second choice keeper at the richest club in the world?
Stuart Taylor is out with a knee injury so he’s getting his chance at the business end of the season.
Crikey - croppy boy is really talking through his hole here about Reina, and Liverpool in general.
People speak about Vidic being a vital signing for United. True to a certain extent alright but Van Der Sar has been more vital - he has been a rock for them and will be hard replaced.
Don’t think he’s first choice though - they have some oul lad in goals for them still.
As old as Bobby Geddes?:
Veteran keeper Bobby Geddes, 49, shocked at return
Geddes revealed he was feeling a few “aches and pains” after the game
Dundee’s veteran goalkeeper Bobby Geddes has no plans to prolong his playing career after being unexpectedly drafted into first-team action.
The 49-year-old came off the bench during the First Division side’s 1-0 defeat by Raith Rovers on Wednesday.
And the goalkeeping coach admitted it was a shock to the system after nearly 10 years on the sidelines.
Bloddy hell - you’re still going on about that.
That match was Pepe’s only bad game that I can recall. Why don’t you dig up Dion Dublin pinching the ball off Shay Given while you’re at it?
