villa were utterly dreadful in the second half. Lambert looked stunned on the sideline watching the gutless rabble in front of him. Id expect a good few new signings now. El Ahmadi will improve us though he flagged badly on a very hot day in London. Lowton looked a third tier player in the second half. Vlaar was poor in the first half against a half fit Carlton Cole. Clark still makes a few rash decisions and wasnt that great. Delph isnt good enough for this level and I’m be tempted to trade out Ireland and Nzogbia. Ireland is a pure highlights player, goes hiding when it matters though. Nzogbia I’m not sure what has happened but he really has been woeful in a Villa shirt. That second half was a continuation of the football under McLeish and if new players dont come in we are a certainty to go down.

Even though they won, I’ll be backing West Ham to go down. Thought they were dire too. Cole and Nolan dont look fit. Taylor and McCartney on the left flank. Winston Reid at centre half. Thats a piss poor side. Diame was decent enough for them but the rest were shite.
