Epl 2012/13

Hernandez only score two skip…

I was stunned to hear that Aston Villa were winning this 2-0. Villa more than any other side over the EPL era have probably shown the most blatant craven co-operation with Man U. Normal service appears to have been resumed though.

Why were Aston Villa not awarded a free kick when Van Persie handled the ball there. Does the handball rule not apply to Manchester United?

Correct.

Yeah not awarding a dubious handball in the corner flag in the 94th minute was the reason United came back from 2-0 down and won 3-2. There is an evil conspiracy to see United prevail, the same dark forces caused the floodlight failure in Portugal during the week when United were behind.

I better make my usual post match comment when United win.

Tradition is tradition.

Tonight’s game really illustrates the bankruptcy of the EPL/Sky/Murdoch model. Man U were utterly rubbish for the guts of an hour but there was never the slightest doubt they would prevail.

Aston Villa unlike Man U are one of the blue blood traditional teams of the English game, one of the founding members of the Football League in 1887. At 2-0 up, they never looked like a team that believed they could win. Its sad to see a great institution of the English game reduced to that.

Mind you that’s all lost on the likes of dodgy-keeper who probably discovered football circa 1993 and lives his life vicariously through the fortunes of Man U.

It was never in doubt when Chicharito made it 2.1. Uniteds defence is woeful. Uniteds fourth 3.2 win of the season in the league.

Yeah, there’s a vast amount of meek teams in the EPL. Birmingham Aston Villa were very plucky for the best part of an hour but, as you and Shan say, it still looked like Manchester United would ultimately win even when they were behind.

+1

I’m going to have to agree with Sevco chairman Charles Green who labelled Birmingham Aston Villa as ‘completely useless’ recently.

Ah fuck. Some great play for the first hour but went to bits after. Benteke had a cracking game up front. Thought Weimann was absolute shite up to his goal but great movement for his second and similar type movement for his missed chance. Stevens did well one one one with Valencia but played Hernandez onside for the first and his defending for the winner was horrific. Lowton is improving at right back all the time, happy with the centre back duo. Bannan and Westwood did ok today. Ireland nice touches as always but would have taken him off earlier. Not the kind of player you want on when you are under pressure. Gabby’s lack of technique dribbling was fairly evident on a few occasions. Good assist for the goal though.

United fucking hell same old story

Man City kicking lumps out the yids

Even at this relatively early stage of the season it’s glaringly obvious that Manchester United will stroll to this season championship.

?

They spent the first 45 minutes kicking Spurs players off the pitch, so much so the ref called Kompany to tell his team mates to calm down.

Kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun is quite good

Dzeko to score.

You sense that Manchester United need to build a sizeable cushion now with both Man City & Chelsea in patchy form at the moment. This particular crop of Manchester United players are suspect character and bottle wise when the pressure is really on, as evidenced by last seasons incredible collapse over the last 4-5 games.

What a ball from Silva
