Thereās not one team in the league playing well. WBA are prob playing above themselves but that wonāt last.
City havenāt played United yet, have they ?

In fairness, the owners have already put in a fair bit of cash mate-the problem is the king spunked it against a wall. Ā£100m or so on Carroll, Downing, Henderson, Adam and Borini.
Jesus that looks scarcely credible when you read it.
Thatās true pal, but none of that was ātheirā own money- All generated from elsewhere. They made promises when they came in, fair enough the debt has been wiped, but important players have been sold or let go for big money, big sponorship deals have also recently been singed and where is that ? Any trasfer money to date has been generated from players sales- The owners as such, have not put their own money in- Investment is badly needed, so itās time to follow through on promises.
I think if you get Sahin and Lucas back fit and add a decent enough winger and a striker that Liverpools results will pick up. They arenāt playing badly just struggling to convert possession/chances into goals, similar to last year. It wouldnāt take a whole lot in terms of personnel as there is plenty of scope for improvement
Agree. With Lucas back I would go for a trio of Sahin, Lucas and Allen in midfield. My fear is tho that no real money will be given, and it will be a gamble on a 3-6m type player up front. If Gerrard is to continue in this team he needs to be left up top and away from midfield, though iād probably bench him and play a 4-1-4-1. The amount of space between midfield and defence is frightening and aside from not converting chances, this is a major worry.
Sunday week City play United. I hope Ferguson has a go at them this season at Wastelands. He tried to get a draw there last season with a very defensive lineup. It was pitiful really.
Wastelands, good one
Liverpool donāt need a striker as much, Suarez is the top scorer in the league and the best player in the league. Borini should be back at Christmas as well, they badly need options in midfield and some very incisive wide attackers. They only really have Sterling who is any use in these positions.
Jesus mate do you just wum on every soccer thread or do you actually know nothing about the game?
Iām the most knowledgeable football poster on the board and my views are highly respected from the few peers I have on this board.
Can I be your peer?
First you must prove yourself.
Gerrard is probably the only other player with a little savvy and he and Luis can bring the best out of each other. He doesnāt have the legs for midfield anymore but playing off Luis or being able to regularly get in the box, something.our midfielders still.donāt do, will bring more goals.
Lucas is in the squad for the weekend so.we may see something to this variation over the next couple of weeks.
I have been impressed with Jonjo Shevley this season, think he will develop into a decent player in time
@KIB Man,
What do you make of Villaās chances on Saturday away to QPR, they looked overpriced at 4.1. Think bookies are making a bit much of the bounce factor they expect Arry to bring. Draw no bet @2.9 looks tempting as well
I wouldnāt recommend backing Villa at any price at the moment. Not sure if Vlaar and Stevens will be back from injury. God knows what our back four will be if not.
Villa have been a soft touch away from home since MON left. Even though we beat Reading mid week both teams looked midtable championship sides. QPR probably no better but could see them outmuscle our team of midgets at the weekend on a very tight pitch. What price
is under 2.5 goals?
Agent Rafa doing terrific work,
The best left-back in the world slipped up there, Bill.
Iām delighted Itās all falling apart for those cunts.
