PFA Premier League Team of the Year 2007:
Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra (all Man Utd); Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo (all Man Utd) and Steven Gerrard (Liverpool); Didier Drogba (Chelsea) and Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham)

Its a clean sweep pretty much for United. Have to say Van Der Sar and Ferdinand suprised me. If Terry and Cech hadnt been injured Im sure they would have been in instead.

That’s very United dominated isn’t it - considering they’re only 3 points better off than Chelsea. Can’t really argue with many of them as individual inclusions though except for Ferdinand.

Sure as Dunphy said “You have the likes of Terry, Carragher etc playing their guts out and then you have this tramp(rio) earning 120.000 a week” he isnt up to scratch at all

Friedel;
Neville; Carvalho; Vidic; Clichy;
Ronaldo; Essien; Scholes; Giggs;
Berbatov*; Drogba;

  • Really like Berbatov as a player. Gave some exhibition of all round forward play against Arsenal on Saturday.

I agree on Essien being on the team, he has impressed me more than anyone off the Chelsea set-up, class act alltogether

Never rated Neville at all - Finnan has to be in there.

My team:

Cech (has done enough in his return in couple of months to warrant his inclusion)

Finnan, Vidic, Carvalho, cant think of anyone here

Ronaldo, Scholes, Essien, Giggs

Drogba, Berbatov

Serious paucity of decent left backs at the moment but Evra has had a great season

Wayne Bridge has impressed me when he has been given the chance to actually start games. Before the arrival of Cashley he was playing very well
