ESPN's 30 for 30 and Other Sports Documentaries

Seems to be a new one out soon - have seen a few ads for it. Heard anything about it @Gman?

Adam Goodes? Iā€™ve heard about a Nicky Winmar one starting soon alright.

Is the Lance Armstrong one any good?

Is there a backlog of those 30 for 30 docs on Netflix or the like online?

Yeah. I keep getting an ad for it on Twitter for some reason. (Iā€™d imagine our California correspondent isnā€™t seeing the same ad).

Netflix USā€¦ They are on BT nearly every nightā€¦ @Copper_pipe might know of other sources

Iā€™ll have a look.

Our IPTV guy recommended the Undertaker documentary to me during the week. Watched part 1 of it last night. A decent watch if you were a fan of the WWE at any point in your lifetime. Its called ā€œThe Last Rideā€

The IPTV lad has started putting up 30 for 30 but not working yet.

Not playing is it?

A quick search seems to indicate that ā€œthe Australian dreamā€ is on UK platforms from next week. That maybe it? Of course tfk ahead of the curve again and providing it for our loyal followers way ahead of others

Watched it on Exodus. Very good, very sad end to his career. I was there at the time remember but retiring but never thought at the time what a sad end to such a great career

Yeah it never dawned on me either, it was the retirees honour at the grand final that he didnā€™t attend when it somewhat resonated. But in hindsight, it was awful what happened. I never realised some in the media were as bad as they were.

Iā€™ve never really got the Undertaker. Donā€™t get me wrong, his Wrestlemania streak is the greatest streak in sports history, even surpassing the ā€˜72 Dolphins, but he was never the top guy.

I prefer ā€œorchestrated athleticsā€.

Serious athletes, but in many ways the outcome is predetermined. Almost like modern day horse racing

Ya, 2 episodes up but not working

Andrew Bolt came across as a right prick, and Eddie McGuire came across as a two faced cunt. He was some bloody footballer.

Harry O Brien called McGuire right, a casual racist. No strong feelings on it but once you get past the layers, his natural line is of racist persuasion. I donā€™t think he is malicious but if confronted by it, would be on the wrong side of it. Bolt is an utter prick.

Yeah I always thought Bolt was a respected journalist, a kind of Australian Matt Cooper
