Euro 2016 - Group Stage thread

He was at Real madrid as a teenager. Hardy bastard alright

You disagree that this was a remarkable sporting story given their size and that they’ve lost players that should be theirs?

You sure about that?

Reckon its five of the Northern Ireland squad that were born in England - Will Grigg, Conor Washington, Oliver Norwood, Jamie Ward and Lee Hodson. Alan Mannus, the third choice goalkeeper was born in Canada.

Five of the Eire squad, Kieran Westwood, Ciaran Clark, Richard Keogh, Jonathan Walters and Cyrus Christie are from England. James McCarthy and Aidan McGeady are from Scotland and James McLean and Shane Duffy are from Northern Ireland.

Eire, as per usual, despite their much bigger population have far more bangers than Northern Ireland.

I never said I disagree with it being a remarkable sporting achievement. I don’t find it unfair that they lose players because they might keep more players if they were more welcoming to Nationalists

Well that’s what you responded to. I said it was a remarkable sporting achievement given their size and that they have lost decent players like McClean, Gibson, Shane Duffy ect. You decided to tackle that for some reason and bring up that they could pick ROI players (which I already accepted). For whatever reason you are trying to deflect onto this when you know well it’s not the same at all.

Sad to see the Rastoolers have to nitpick at our neighbours achievements. They’ve won a game and we haven’t, they’re an act to follow.

Has there been any trouble between the Poles and Germans outside the ground?

Liz will be getting a slap tonight.

Fuck up you cunting fucks

The Polish #10, the holding midfield chap whose name begins with K, is a lovely footballer.

Germany getting a lot of joy down that left flank.

Players from the Republic can also play for Northern Ireland[/quote]

What a load of nonsense. After the Eire government ceded its Article 2 & 3 territorial claim on Northern Ireland following the IRA surrender/Good Friday Agreement, that should have been the end of that.

Ger Canning is insufferable.

For some reason I thought Hummels was out of the tournament with injury

Fabianski in goal for the poles, was Szczesny dropped or is he injured

Hector is doing poorly for the amount of ball he is getting in advanced areas

I’d say Gotze hasn’t had a good game since he was about 18

Unique?any FA from england n ireland scotchland or wales can pick any player born in britain

Krzykowiak. Sevilla.
