The traditional Icelandic naming convention is for the sons surname to take the first name followed by “sson” e.g. Sigurdsson is the son of Sigurd .
What’s the grandson then? Sigurdssonsson?

As @Nembo_Kid has been at pains to say many many times, its tournaments like this that show the greatness of International football. Its still the most pure in footballing terms, organising the tools at your disposal and getting the best out of them. Combine that with the crowds, say what you like about the Irish fans but its a wonderful outlet for pride, patriotism and nationalism. This is once again to be seen tonight in the Icelandic fans and the scenes in Nice. Give me International football over any other.
