Euro 2016

What a cunt of a draw.

Wouldn’t that be a single?

A lot of people will base their holidays in 2015 around that game next September in Faro I reckon, a week or two over there with the match thrown in.[/quote]

They’re not bad though - We should get a result against Georgia (0-0 will do nicely), thrash Gibralter, lose to Germany, but keep it respectable, then beat the Scots. Thats 2014 done and if we go into our first match of 2015, against Poland at home with 7 points in the bag, we’re in a strong position.
Obviously we need to beat Poland and Georgia at home to have any hope of qualifying and thats eminently feasible.
The vital game will be the last, away to Poland, that will be a huge night.
I think we’ll qualify.
@balbec what is the feeling in Poland about the draw?

Christ, England get some fucking easy draws

They don’t rate us, @Fitzy. All they are talking about is their Bundesliga stars playing their clubmates.

The Poles are bottlers, no more than us they can’t handle being favourites and thats what they will be billed as by their own against us. Suits us fine, we are more than capable of getting 4 points from them.

I can’t wait to tear the Scots apart…

@Rintintin where is our away trip going to be?

A few years ago, Poland seemed to be coast through qualifying every time only to implode at tournaments. Now they really struggle in qualifying.

Poland and Germany certainly have stronger squads than us. The Scots are on a par and Georgia are probably slightly weaker.

How many Poles, Scots and Georgians play in the EPL?? We will mop the floor with all three of them.

A lot of peasants you mean, dodgy?

Scotland V Ireland fixed for Celtic Park. Carnage.

Strange to see Scotland cede home venue.

+1
I’m going to get my French Linguaphone tape out next week and start brushing up.

:D:D

“Yes, I think we came second back in that game, but I think you played a select side,” replied the Glasgow-born 40-year-old Gibraltar coach.

Wilson prefers to point to Gibraltar’s final friendly before Sunday’s draw, which also paired them with Germany, Republic of Ireland, Poland and Georgia in their debut tournament at international level, as an example of their current quality.

“I love hearing that we’re minnows, we’re the cannon fodder, we shouldn’t be there, but I think, if people go have a look at our game against Slovakia, they’ll see just how well organised we can be,” he said.

“No disrespect to San Marino or the Faroe Islands, but I see Gibraltar 10 places above them already.”

This guy is clearly retarded. The interview was done on Friday but that’s some amount of delusional thinking.

Looks as though Ireland will play Scotland in Celtic Park on the 14th of November. Can’t believe the Scots are willing to give up home advantage and play this in an Irish venue

Money talks I suppose. Not looking forward to seeing our stadium and the Gallowgate infested with the jocks.

Just saw the FIFA Rankings yesterday. Surprised to see Scotland are at 22 and Eire are languishing at 66. Even Wales are at 47.

That’s what happens when you replace one of the most decorated coaches in football history with a pair of quislings.
