He just sticks to his favourites

Sommer did well there.

Swiss playing good stuff here. Look dangerous every time they come forward.

Cracking pace to the game in general

Mbappe is having a very poor tournament

Exactly. The ideal left back and left wing back. Very odd to ignore him

Pogba has gone very Hollywood with his passing and general demeanour in this tournament. This is in stark contrast to his ultra-professional demeanour in 2018. There’s a bit of a bang of Euro 2004 off this French team. Deschamps seems to be allowing room for egos in a way he hasn’t before. I have a feeling they’re not quite as focussed as 2018.

Rabiot started well.

The Davy Fitz of international management.

Benzema and Mbappe both want to play the ronaldo role in that they do no tracking back or pressing

Kante is off it.

Varane never really kicked on from his early promise. He looked generational.

Embolo should have buried that

Rabiot is some mong

Awful touch Rabiot.

Surely France should get the free kick there, awful by Rabiot

Lovely touch from Greaseman

Elvedi on a yellow and he’s designated on Mbappe. Ruh Roh

Ya a World Cup and 3 or 4 champions plus a few la ligas and spanish cups is a poor return.

Should be a yellow for Pogba
