Euro 2020 thread (Part 1)

goal kick

Should hsve been a goal kick

Chiesa isn’t 100%

Much poorer team than 2006 when they had quality like Inzaghi, Totti, Luca Toni and Del Piero to pick from up front.

Italy beginning to settle

Sterling on the right and Mount on the left is probably a surprise. It’s a very narrow three and they’re infield a lot, thus leaving room for the wing backs as seen for the goal.

That wasn’t offside.

Chiesa having a shocker.

Mount isn’t desperately effective through the middle, he can’t beat a man out wide, he hasn’t wicked pace, he has a nice haircut alright and is very inoffensive

Di Lorenzo won’t be on Chiesa’s Christmas card list

To be fair to the guy - is he fit ???

Mancini has got this one wrong

he doesn’t look it. Shaw was his man that he never tracked back…

he’d want to fuck up moaning at the right back

Dive again.

Every England player looks to have a yard of pace more then their Italian counterpart

Chiesa and Insigne not tracking back will be a worry

Twice Insigne has passed/headed a ball back without taking any notice of an England player rapidly closing down

they’re exceptionally well conditioned. They’ve been the same every game.

Chiellini and Bonucci are getting dragged into deep waters. Italy seem overmatched in terms of pace. Could do with a slower tempo game but the English are dictating it.

Tactical injury here maybe
