He’ll pop up in the box and get a few goals over the course of a season but he’s not much good when you want to dominate the midfield
I was nodding away on a teams meeting at 2 secretly watching the soccer - it’s brilliant
That one and Yaremchuk’s last night were lovely.

McTominay has been very quiet.
Armstrong has been the one trying to do something. Christie is very powder puff.
Like a bull in a china shop
He has a great shot on him from open play. Can really arrow them in from outside the box when given time and space, but he doesn’t do nearly enough in general play. Johnny Giles wouldn’t like him, I’d be sure of that.

Kieffer Moore for Wales. Dumfries’s was the best of the lot. Schick’s not far behind to be fair.
Scotland in that first half remind me of the big, unskilled lad during football games at school breaks who constantly barges into people, pushes them off the ball and just toe bogs it towards the goal any chance he gets.
If Johnny wouldn’t rate him that’s enough for me
To say they’re lacking guile would be putting it mildly in fairness.
Johnny doesn’t rate De Bruyne for the same reason
Johnny wants every outfield player to run back towards the centre back to make an angle to receive the ball.

As Duffer says when you have a back 5 you really need more than 1 of them to be half decent on the ball. Tierney a loss in that regard I suppose
Right, I’ve had a look at the Scotland bench.
I’d get Billy Gilmour on for McGinn right now and try get a bit of a foothold on the ball in midfield. 10 minutes in I’d be getting Che Adams in for Christie.

Not really if your life partner is “back to work” from maternity leave and the crèche can’t take the young lad until the start of July. He broke a mirror yesterday and has ripped a load of the older fella’s Mister Men books during the first half here. I might have to take him out for a walk and give up on the second half here.
