Sporar is sitting on Rice when the centre-backs have the ball, and Gallagher is playing very high so they have no one to receive the pass in midfield really.
The centre-backs probably need to carry the ball a lot higher up the pitch when there’s space in front.

Tonight is a night they could play Alexander Arnold. They have so much of the ball you could play him as one of the centre backs and use his range of passing to open up the opposition from there.
Yeah, Bellingham was roaring at Guehi to carry it and he just passed it across to Stones instead.
They seem happy enough to leave Guehi mostly free but Maguire is good at carrying it, in fairness. Guehi needs to be more confident.
