One of the shit teams like Romania might use it as a training ground. The stand should be ready by then.
I see. I got fobbed off this morning with the poor mouth about forced education
They should scrap it tbh
Alan sounds like he doesn’t know what he wants, just what he doesn’t want - it’s the Windsor Framework in sporting form for them. None of the cities hosting Euro28 will have a new football stadium after the tournament, only the football lads in NI see that as a dealbreaker.
Any time NI or Ulster would have a big game it would go to Casement. PuíC is being used in the same way. Plus, Windsor Park and Ravenhill have been redeveloped already.
I strongly doubt NI will ever play at Casement
After the Euros of an England or France or Ireland came to town? I’m sure this is all around future rent they might have to pay, using this as a bargaining tool.
Will NI qualify? If they do then they’ll play there.
Is a shamrocks players really complaining about somebody else getting a stadium with public money?
Oh the ironing
The stadium in Tallaght was pitched (ahem) as a multipurpose one, with the GAA as a user. With the North Stand being built over the past 6 years and nearing completion, that closes off that possibility.
Triggers Broom FC really pulled a fast one
“renters own the houses they rent” huh?
rugby league
rugby union
american football
all happened at tallaght
You forgot to say fighting and shaping.
how many times did the GGA rented tallaght before the north stand was built?
How would the game of hurling and G Football be accommodated on a pitch the length of an American football field? The width is there tbf.
huh?
your argument was there was room before the north stand was built, so how many times did they rent it when they could use it?
Huh?
I don’t argue, but my point is that there isn’t much scope for any GAA activities now that the North Stand is due to be completed. Perhaps Rounders or a stage for Scór could take place there, but not bog hockey or the Gaelic.
Admins, please arrange that @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy is not permitted to post on this fine thread anymore, thank you.
when there was scope, did they rent it much mate?
any tax payer funded stadium should cater for all sports.
