Alan sounds like he doesn’t know what he wants, just what he doesn’t want - it’s the Windsor Framework in sporting form for them. None of the cities hosting Euro28 will have a new football stadium after the tournament, only the football lads in NI see that as a dealbreaker.
Any time NI or Ulster would have a big game it would go to Casement. PuíC is being used in the same way. Plus, Windsor Park and Ravenhill have been redeveloped already.
I strongly doubt NI will ever play at Casement

After the Euros of an England or France or Ireland came to town? I’m sure this is all around future rent they might have to pay, using this as a bargaining tool.

The stadium in Tallaght was pitched (ahem) as a multipurpose one, with the GAA as a user. With the North Stand being built over the past 6 years and nearing completion, that closes off that possibility.

I don’t argue, but my point is that there isn’t much scope for any GAA activities now that the North Stand is due to be completed. Perhaps Rounders or a stage for Scór could take place there, but not bog hockey or the Gaelic.
