Europa League Final 2022 - Rangers v Eintracht Frankfurt

Frankfurt are horrendous at the back …

Comical defending by Frankfurt ffs

Twice in a couple of minutes a fella at the back got tied in knots in his own feet.

What a brutal goal to give away. Not just yer man falling over but the keeper had the ball at his feet and a couple of easy passes on and he just floated one up to Goldson. Then yer man flick headed Goldson’s first header back and the other chap fell over.

Mark Noble should be lifting this trophy tonight to close a great career. It’s galling watching

Gerry saying “lets have a looksy” is becoming iconic

Scottish football was owed a touch of luck like that in Seville after Alan Hansen bumping into Willie Miller in 1982 and effectively ensuring Scotland’s exit from the World Cup and Celtic’s Rab Douglas spilling the ball for the winner against Porto in 2003.

This is horrible.

This is great for Scottish football.

It was eminently winnable for West Ham. An awful pity Cresswell committed that foul. Might have snuck it otherwise.

This is putting the League of Scotland on the map. I’m even thinking I might tune in for a game at the start of next season.

People might mention a certain former sports journalist but he’s not a proper Rangers fan. It’s the small band of genuine Southern Irish Rangers fans like Richard Sadlier and Waterford’s John Jackson Kiely I’m thinking of right now.

What a moment for them.

The scotch league needs it.

Dave McIntyre was saying earlier Ryan Jack hadnt done enough to force himself into Steve Clarke’s thoughts for any world cup qualifier. Should have done a bit of research as Jack was injured for every world cup qualifier. Out for nearly a year.

Frankfurt are brutal
