Definitely seems to be overthinking it.
Rationale that in the final 20 the game should open up more and heâd be caught out? Logic would be he can be more effective when players generally are more tired.

Yeah, itâs a bit pointless because Porter can play the full 80 and Jack Boyle would have been a much better pick instead of Healy anyway.

You can be sure Cullen was already thinking ahead to the Final when no doubt Barrett would have started and Henshaw benched. He wanted to spin it that it was a horses for courses selection and soften the blow for Henshaw instead of being open and just say âBarrett is better than you and will start ahead of you every game when fitâ.
He must have some very good managerial characteristics and is obviously excellent at keeping morale high during the mundane months of September to March, but he should be told to fuck off and go sea swimming come April when things start to get serious.

Loss? Shur Conor Kellys Clontarf won, and Laois bate the shite out of Offaly and Wexford in the hurling. And Portlaoise have gotten millions from Nike to build a behemoth sports centre.

Youâd see the likes of Conor Kelly and look at JJ, Billy Burns and Jack Carty being renewed and wonder. The lad himself might be happier doing what he is doing and playing away with Clontarf all the same.
Iâve just seen Kilcoyne retired there today as well, he was finished physically years ago, maybe 5, but they keep renewing him. JJ is back at Munster this summer, he canât move.

Youâd do worse than take a shot on Conor, but maybe heâs happy with his lot. He didnt come out of the right school for many of these provinces.
