Unreal.

I love this time of year. The summer is still pregnant with possibility.

A friend of mine was flying back to the concrete jungle of London today after 9 days at home and i felt sorry for them.

It may be a Leitrim thing but after a weather forecast detailing impending rain or showers lads would sigh and say with as much authority as a PUF could muster “there’s rain promised”

Now Gerard Fleming may have mentioned impending precipitation, but he certainly didn’t promise it.

Often wondered where that phrase came from. I use it myself. You’d know lads that would have their own forecast using it. It’s a lovely way of appearing knowledgeable in meteorology without having a bulls notion. It being Ireland you’re sure to have some back up from the weather.

That was a hell of a solstice we got tonight. Absolutely outstanding.

Still bright outside almost.

Straight shot to the winter now

Probably the best sundown we’ve got since Mid-June tonight, for those like myself who are suckers for a good sunset.

Yes enjoyed it on Clew bay. Fantastic
