It was a grand day for the garden all the same. I got a bit done. Tidying up the herbaceous borders.
They say to leave them for the birds. But I don’t know, I never see them feeding off the seed heads.

I love January. Love that first snowdrop or cyclamen peeping through. The imperceptible minute or two each evening. It might well be my favourite month of the year.
