Tranmere/Hereford v Cardiff

Cant complain with that draw. United at home to anyone I would take. No real standout ties.

Yeah home draw is great but we do have a knack of drawing premier league sides.

Its probbably a good thing though as United struggled in the past against the likes of Exeter and Burton Albion. Tottenham must be tired with all the games they are having at the moment. The Carling cup semi final against Arsenal and the replay in 3 consective midweeks. Reading dont care about the cup but did draw at Old Trafford in their last two trips.

We normally do pretty well against Spurs alright and Reading really shouldn’t trouble us at home but the likes of plymouth might have been nicer.

What a boring, over-rated weekend third round is, or at least was this year. Premiership clubs through easily, one or two knocked out, the odd replay to boost the coffers of the small clubs and bring a smile to the bookies faces as all the mugs’ accas are smashed. Big fooking deal. Fourth round draw, and more shitty games. United-Tottenham might be alright, but still boring enough.

Was watching the draw down in the pub while having my usual Monday beef curry (half rice / half chips) and Sky put up a huge caption at the end:

Potential 4th round tie:

Liverpool vs Havant and Waterlooville

The fact that both sides have to negotiate 3rd round replays didn’t halt the hype machine from starting up.

They also had cameras at the Oldham training ground and it panned onto all the players when they were drawn against Huddersfield and they looked pretty bemused.

LOL, if ever you need confirmation that you are a minnow club, it’s the Sky cameras in your canteen for a cup draw.

Oldham should be happy with the draw they got though. Better chance of progressing and potentially getting a great draw in the next round.

Draw coming up now on BBC One.

All the big guns safely advanced from the 3rd round.

Is Graham Kelly still alive ?

An absolute sham. Not even drawing the balls out of a velvet bag.

Abolish the competition.

You need not worry about what way teams are being drawn out mate. Liverpool won’t be drawn and that’s a fact of life.

Robbie Keane struggling to put 2 words together, the lads around him just nodding and smiling, don’t have a clue what he’s on about

Millwall v Everton.

If this was 1989 and not 2019, that would be an exciting fourth round tie.

It’s great watching a live draw with your team still in.

Arsenal v Manchester United.

It’ll be fascinating to see the midfield battle between Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Rob Holding and Scott McTominay and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.
