My mate was working at it and got me a ‘corporate’ ticket.
Fai had meal beforehand and bit of a q and a presentation gig where mark rutherford got some hall of fame award.
Whole thing was a bit embarrassing- cold fish and chips and lads wandering around tables on what should be their flagship day. They could learn a lot from gaa and how they do and milk hospitality. A real old boys network even with Dela gone.
In saying that they had few old shels teams and ex LOI players around the room who were available for chats/photos but it was very haphazard. GAA would have 2 of these boxed off per suite/box to work the corporate dollar.
