Fantasy Premier League 2009/2010

With the exception of the two people that already have beaten him I dont think the Dunph can be beaten. Dunph only man to put a dent into my team.

The best of luck this weekend Runt. This could be match of the season between two progressive, exciting teams both with young up-and-coming managers.

I beat HBVs crowd 47-41 to move up the h2h league to 11th,twas no surprise considering hes a minnow in this league, ive a much trickier assignment coming up against My Boy BLue at the Weekend.Hes 2 points ahead of me in this and im not as confident as i usually am in the run up to one of these encounters, problem is that ive a few injuries but couldnt get rid of any of them as i had one Sunderland player too many so i shipped out K Richardson for Steven Hunt, that leaves me with Arshavin, Neville,Mascherano and Fullop injured,i should have fucked out Fullop, big mistake.

No tipping of the helmet in this weekends game link, we know what you KK folk are like.

Time to play your wildcard Link.

It seemed to be a pretty average scoring week all round last week. I got 47 points or something and thought i’d be tumbling, but it seems i was middle of the road. Of the 3 leagues i’m in only about 4 guys got 60 points. I stayed in the exact same position in all 3.
Stevie Ireland is out for me, playing ok, but he’s not doing this fantasy stuff that well at all. Damien Duff in, and i’ll have 4 spare points to work with next week, Duff is cheap. I expect Duff to go on a little run of form, he’s been injury free for a while now, and is a “go-to” player for Fulham, he seems happy there as well.

Ive done the wildcard thing on your advice,i looked cornered so i said fuck it,my new completely unbeatable lineup is.

Given

R Dunne G Johnson M Turner A Cole

S WrightPhilips F Lampard W Elliot

J Defoe D Drogba D Bent

subs M Hahnemann,Muamba,T Cohen,A Wilkinson

Only one wildcard can be used in the year. Schoolboy error in fairness there Link

I realise that but see my posts above,i had 4 cunts on the old team injured and me subs were paraplegic,i was destined to go down badly to MyBoyBlue at the Weekend,i was forced into taking corrective action, anyway whos to say my new team wont score 70 points a Week for the next 6 months:thumbsup:

Nothing wrong with using the wildcard early if your team is a mess, no sense shipping points trying to readjust and saving a wildcard you might never use as appropriately.

Its all irrelevant. Flano will win this anyway.

Thats a decent looking outfit Link. Should keep you in contention.

Why hold on to the Wildcard Locke? No point in falling miles behind while trying to change your team one player at a time. Might as well be bold and go for it early.

Subs are a bit pants the link, could do you when half or double gameweeks come, but you can ship them in and out quietly as time goes by I’m sure. Its a fine first 11. However prepare for half them to get injured now, thats what usually happened when I used to play my wildcard…

The subs are shite no question about it,id have even more shite subs if i could find cheaper ones,i kind of picked it with our Weekend duel in mind,im looking no further than that:cool:

Personally, I would have waited until the Champions Leagues games were over for this week before using the wildcard. But hey, I’m only in The Big 5, so what does my opinion matter.

Ah yea, I wouldnt make any changes to my team until a few hours before the close, but link has sheep to dip so fuck off you soft townie cunt.

Dippin em is only half the job, huntin them to the local dipping baths around two miles away takes a day and a half,ya couldnt get the lambs to keep going in front of ya…

Says the man who gave out to me for doing it a few weeks ago.:D:D

You played yours before the transfer window had closed Kev. Lots of players might have moved in the last couple of days of the window and you could have potentially missed out on a good player or picked someone whose club buys a better player for that position. As it happened, few enough players moved this year so you were lucky:thumbsup:

I thought about all this, and picked a team with only one possible mover, and he moved, Richard Dunne, he went from squad player to regular by doing it. Ingenius i thought, almost as good as last weekend when i got Givet in for Song, inspired move.

I’m thinking next week of getting Rooney in and loosing Lennon, i have 4 points spare, so this would work. Go back to 2 up front.
What ye think?
