i have to say i was unaware of the existance of this tipping king character before this topic as i have no interest on supporting bookies lifestyles and rarely pay attention to wonderful stories of all the winners lads have had.
In actual fact now that i think of it i don`t recall ever meeting anyone who placed a bet that lost.
would it be a useful excercise to set up a topic where chaps can put up a post outlining bets they have placed and the amount wagered before the action commences and ban posters from talking about any bets not previously notified.
it would certainly weed out a lot of the bluffers.?

You can’t be serious TAN? Do you pay any attention to what’s going on around here? There are at least three threads that do exactly as you outlined above. Dunph has a dedicated tips thread as has TTK and there is another one called Average Punters punts.

That’s the whole point of the “Profitable Selections” thread TAN. I put up solid reasoning for every bet on there pre event and an advised stake, you can then abuse me if it loses or share in the joy when it wins. A thread that is ~ 40 points in profit after 9 long months too.
