Very strange. I can’t figure out what’s causing it but I’ll see what I can figure out.
Is it happening if you hit More Options and use the longer form reply as opposed to the quick reply?

As above
I’ll take a look later.
@Rocko the 3G signal is very patchy in Germany when you go outside the main urbane centres. There was a period of about 45 minutes between Hamburg and Bremen where I didn’t have any signal at all.
Can you have a look into it please, I’m sure there’s a logical explanation
Rocko, thank you very much.

What type of phone have you?
A mobile phone.
These speed issues should hopefully be mostly fixed, though temporarily while I fix it properly.
No, smart phone
Lovely. When your smart phone drops 3G turn off the automatic select network setting. It’ll take a minute to search for the networks available. When they pop up pick the one with 3G, then stick it back on automatic again. You’re welcome.
What was it?
Ah here, FFS… o_O
Yes Rocko, noticeably quicker now. Well done and thank you.
Problems with the PTO shaft…all sorted via PM. Don’t worry.
Works all the time on the iPhone in Ireland. Coverage drops for a second and it’ll take ages for the phone to select 3G again, finding it manually is much quicker.
With all due respect and heartfelt gratitude Glas, I understood all the words in your post, sadly the 3G bit threw me a bit. I’m sure the info contained in your post was informative to many, but it’s flown right by me. You pick it up and stab a button to receive a call or alternatively make a call.
I was managing, with an effort, the last phone I had until I dropped it, just in time for a bullock to walk on it. The young lad has rakes of these fancy one lying around so he gave me a Blackberry one that I’m perfecting via the old “trial and error” method. I can receive and make calls, take pictures and find TFK so I guess it’s progres…

Good man boxty. By 3G I mean Internet, sometimes the Internet on your phone stops working, the week trick above helps. Wait til you have text messages down as well before you start worrying a about any of that stuff though.
Messages in various forms reaching me sadly. I look at where/whom they’re from and delete any I don’t recognise. I deleted, in haste, a message from the Nigerian Government yesterday that said I’d won $19.3m and now can’t find it. She’s in wicked humour about that though…
