Correct. It was really the rise of De La Salle that knocked us off our perch first. They beat us for the first time in living memory (probably ever) in the semi final in Walsh Park in 2005 with the not inconsiderable assistance of referee John Michael Kelly, now deceased. I actually passed it just after it happened. A foreign wan stabbed her husband and jumped out through the front glass door & he ran across the road into Paddy Rohan’s for a creamy pint and called the Gardai
