Alright mate!

When will the clique be receiving your early thoughts and speculation on Cheltenham?

The clique would prefer early thoughts and speculation at Thurles on a Thursday mate. I’ve had one AP bet so far though, Arvika Legionnaire at 20/1 for the RSA. Steam into that one. Are you going to Cheltenham this year, November or March?

Fenners usually has a bet at the open meeting in Cheltenham i believe

Still awaiting his NH season preview, a must read and makes up plenty of my TTF decisions.

You not a fan SS*? I was very impressed with his win in Punchestown after 700+ days off the track. Looked a serious prospect over fences and his stable know a thing or two about readying them I hear.

That’s all well and good but isn’t he targetting the Arkle not the RSA?

I think he’s more of a stayer, I’m hoping connections will too, I can see him running in something like the Drinmore over 2m4f and going from there.

So do I to be honest but connections are adamant that the Arkle is the target. It was also the target before he got injured and they seem to be sticking to that.

They’d be brave taking on Simonsig. But I suppose they’ve got Champagne fever too.

:strokechin: Willie and Rupert will change their mind. If you had one ante-post bet now SS for any race at the festival, who would it be?

Thie big one in march, kid!

I’m deciding whether to make the trip myself this year :strokechin: Peddlers Cross confirmed to go back over hurdles. I may take a look at him in the ante-post World Hurdle market in the hope that his novice chasing experiment wasn’t the end of him.

It wasn’t the chasing that finished him, wind gone

Surely the ever popular wind-op would have sorted him out?

 Arvika makes his re-appearance in the Drinmore this weekend. Well done connections on a great decision there.

Powers go 3/1

That’s a very good price if he’s fully primed :strokechin:

I’ll be awaiting Kid Chocolate’s verdict on this matter.

Not surprisingly the professionals at Timeform agreed with me.
