This ticket thing was in 2017 and I’m unclear how it’s a bad thing anyway. Surely we want politicians to call it as it is without being influenced by previous interactions?

The bit about him saying he’d push back against Catherine Murphy who wanted to bring Delaney in front of the committee is potentially a much bigger story

Yes, the ticket thing isn’t a story at all. Sure all of us here have probably asked people we know for help to get (full price) tickets to sporting or other events. Same goes for Kevin O’Keef(f)e. But Rock’s alleged offer to obstruct the committee is very serious stuff. It’s actually to John’s credit that he ignored this inappropriate utterance and is now gladly appearing before the committee today.
If asking for free tickets is a crime then I’m in big trouble
