I think Brosnan was in goal when we missed out on the Euros. Didn’t she let a back pass roll past her foot away to Ukraine in conceding the only goal in the pivotal last qualifier? But she’s looked really good in the 6.5 Ireland games I’ve seen since then.

25 mins: That’s a disaster for Ireland, as Aine O’Gorman’s sliding backpass catches 'keeper Courtney Brosnan flat-footed and rolls all the way into the back of the net. So unfortunate for Ireland.

I’ve fallen truly, madly, deeply in love with Sineád Farrelly during this tournament. A pity all her neat play & skill is in her own half because of the tactics.

Ireland doing very well but maybe a sub or two needed now. Some players started to flag physically having played the previous two games.
Stuff like Payne’s touch there on the wing is why she doesn’t play more expansively. Need 4 ir 5 more good girls.
McCabe’s been involved in a running feud with a couple of opponents all second half.
