For all intents and purposes the more times you watch it the more you realise that Tuco is the main character of the film, his character is one of the greatest of all time, Wallach is superb and you could argue his chemistry with Eastwood set the template for all the future buddy cop or duo movies.

Stephen’s night I will have my traditional watching of The Dead, the greatest film ever made. Of all the things I look forward to over Christmas, I think this is the most important.
