From what I’ve seen:
Top of my list would be “The Football Factory”, pretty much no on pitch action but is still an outstanding film.
The worst one would probably be “Victory”(the one with Stallone). Very difficult to take seriously.
Any other suggestions on good football related films?
Can?t think of a good one myself. There was a terrible prison one with Vinny Jones, Mean Machine. There was also one with Se?n Bean playing for his beloved Sheffield United, can?t remember what it was called. Saw another one a few years back called ?There?s Only One Jimmy Grimble? about a young lad who gets to play for Manchester City, it was gash ? Robert Carlisle was in it, a big come down from his Begbie days.
A film I forgot to mention was Green Street, I had the dvd for months and watched it for the first time the other night. Good film, the scene with the Millwall lad petrol bombing the place is a bit over the top and the obvious plotline with Elijah Wood is there to appeal to american audiences but it is still a pretty decent film
