Get yourself a pair of linen pants somewhere like Massimo Dutti. Don’t go full roaster in your shorts.

I was at weddings in Oz and shorts were suitable attire. I know absolutely no one at this one too so have no shame in baring leg.
I actually think linen pants are worse.looking and at least with shorts, you’ll get another wear from them.
They’ll match herself’s paddle nicely.
It’s either a “premium investment piece”, or lederhosen.
Theres a matching mask, length of chain and poster from Pulp Fiction with first 10 purchases.

Zara, Next or Massimo Dutti might be your best bet? Or M&S. Got a nice linen shirt off them for a wedding abroad years ago, but got L (when I am usually XL)
