Thanks for your help, I tried a reset, didn’t work. The old cartridge is gone now so not worth worrying about.

Well this is the thing isn’t it?

Bloody printers these days count the sheets. So no matter what is left in the cartridge they still stop after X amount of sheets. You mightn’t be printing much color at all and they still come up as empty.

This is to stop cheap skates like me refilling the cartridges with cheap ink.

They say not to give your printer access to the internet, or update it, as the new software can override any hacks the cartridge suppliers on eBay come up with.
