I’d expect TK and Rodgers won’t start for Clare and possibly Ryan Taylor
I’ll probably leave it alone now at 6/4 but I still do fancy Clare
I know it’s Wexford lads but 6/1 to beat a struggling Galway side down in the Chadwick seems worth a punt. A good performance from Chin could down the Tribesman singlehandedly if we play like we did the last 2 games.
People might say Galway played poorly but they had what 20 wides, conceded a shocking goal and missing Rory Burke. They will take care of Wexford easily.
Down at 4/11 is a ridiculous price…
If Mark Sheedy hadn’t left his body for 5 minutes, I’d have had a nice 7/1 double land. I thought Galway would let Niland and Rabbitte play the 20s final too, but they obviously didn’t even need them
All joking and blowing smoke up lads holes but I fully expect Leitrim to turn over the Scallionaters tomorrow evening. The expected return of Big Barry will be a huge boost to morale outside of his contribution on the field.
A small punt on them has seen the 13/8 cut to 6/4 so I’m convinced Powers has an army of staff watching every multiple they’re involved in.
We’re going to do it…
I told you a while back, Carlow have blown the load.
My big bet of the weekend is Laois -5/-6/-12/-15 v London.
I’ve made money on London footballers down through the years so begun a bit of research into this game with the initial plan to back London HTFT.
The -5 handicap is based on their big win over Waterford. Imo it’s been totally over blown.
- Waterford are crap
- Waterford were down Conor Murray who’s their best player.
- Waterford basically gave them two goals from short kickouts.
This was a low quality affair.
LAOIS are not bad. They started D3 poorly.
R1: 1-10 to 0-13 draw with Limerick
R2: 0-23 to 0-9 loss to Wexford.
Both games they hit a tremendous amount of wides.
R3: beat Sligo 0-18 to 1-8
R4: lost 0-24 to 2-15 to Clare
R5: beat Westmeath 3-16 to 1-13
R6: lost 1-14 to 2-13 to Fermanagh
R7: Beat Down 2-22 to 0-24 who actually had Murdock, Guinness and Havern playing.
Leinster SFC: beat Offaly 3-12 to 0-12
Lost to Kildare 2-20 to 2-15 although a slight health warning with this as Kildare led by 9 before a strong finish.
I watched back Laois v Wicklow first half and I was really impressed by them.
They let the opposition get the shorts and then they press up top.
I can see London being turned over like they were v Mayo and even Waterford were able to pressurise their transition.
They have Byron in goals who can kick twos plus they’ve o’carroll up front who’s a great player and even better flat track bully.
Im on a horrid run at the moment, it’s all stemming from more important real life stuff and im just missing out on little things here and there.
Prime example is missing out on continuing bets against Kildare and London hurlers who eventually got their hammerings last weekend. Think it could be London footballers turn this weekend.
Total of 3 pts invested.
Dublin hurlers a great price at 5/4.
They are better than Kilkenny.
Now there is tradition etc. which is a legitimate concern. They probably need to be 5 points better to win by one. But I think they are.
Roscommon 8/11 vs Tyrone. Only worry here is Roscommon are still drunk. Tyrone are poor.
Wexico 10/11 vs Fermanagh seems like value too. Two teams going in opposite directions
Then my outside bet of the day. Offaly 3/1 Vs Down. Down are better than Offaly. But are they 3/1 better? I don’t think so. I’d have Offaly maybe 7/4. Down might find it hard to get back up. Offaly were playing D2 all year.
You won’t become a rich man betting on Laois my friend
unlucky you didn’t get clean sweep!
nice one with offaly.
Just checking in to say the same. Down butchered some amount of chances. Great win for Offaly
I saw down against Limerick and I cannot fathom how they beat Donegal

Lovely stuff kid
Having not won a game all year in senior hurling or football, Offaly have now won three in a week
This guy rocks - well he did until he collapsed in home….
