They should actually do it though. Nobody wants to go to Portlaoise. Just give the opposition the home venue.
Why don’t they just put Kerry in Leinster if they get up? Or at least have a playoff in Leinster too to give some semblance of fairness

Hurling:
Waterford host Tipperary and Cork.
Dublin host Kilkenny in Round 1, but have to go to Wexford and Galway.
Galway host Kilkenny but go to Wexford.
The Munster Championship is going to be seriously box office. Dead rubbers could be an issue though

This draw has proven the naysayers correct on the new round robin system and how it does no favours for the weaker counties. Sending the likes of Dublin and Kilkenny down to Salthill is not good for hurling.
Sending anyone to that ducking wind tunnel is bad for hurling .
