Gaa Draw 2016

Wexford v Kildare in a quarter final with Dublin and Meath in the other half of the draw.

@Sidney what way do the provinces match up this year in regard of the provincial losers being assigned to the A or B side of the draw?

Galway and Donegal or Monaghan are the big sides of the B side of the draw. Kildare will probably make the Leinster final and Tipp haven’t shown anything to suggest they can beat a big team yet.

The losers on the A side of the Ulster draw (2 of Derry/Armagh/Tyrone) will fancy their chances at a run through the qualifiers along with Meath.

And where the fuck have you been all week? What are your mediation skills like? Could do with someone to throw some smacht on the hurlers…

It’s seeded you retard.

It’ not, you spastic.

They’ve both got a bye to the semi having won last year.

It’s a 50/50 fucking chance.

Yes and they managed to avoid each other once again.

Based on previous even years, the Munster final will be on July 3rd, Connacht final on July 10th, with the Ulster and Leinster finals on July 17th.

This means the Munster and Connacht finalists will face teams from the A section in qualifier Round 4 and/or the quarter-finals.

The Leinster and Munster finalists will face B side teams.

A likely All-Ireland quarter-final line up for next year is as follows:
Sunday July 31:
Q/F 1: Munster Champions v Connacht Runners-Up/ A side qualifier
Q/F 2: Connacht Champions v Munster Runners-Up/ A side qualifer

Saturday August 6:
Q/F 3: Ulster Champions v Leinster Runners-Up / B side qualifer
Q/F 4: Leinster Champions v Ulster Runners-Up/ B side qualifier

Semi-Finals:
Sunday August 21
Winner Q/F 2 V Winner Q/F 3 (Connacht v Ulster)

Sunday August 28:
Winner Q/F 1 V Winner Q/F 4 (Munster v Leinster)

Potential A section teams include:
Three of Derry, Tyrone, Cavan and Armagh
Loser of Roscommon v Sligo
Meath, Laois

B section teams will likely include:
Fermanagh, Down, and one of Donegal or Monaghan
The loser of Mayo v Galway
Tipperary, Wexford, Westmeath

More of a balance to it this time around. Would not be surprised to have 5 Ulster teams in the QFs next year.

We will beat the scutter out of Clare and that little cunt Davy Fitz.

Who did Dublin get?

I would be astonished.

If you start keeping ulster sides apart in the draw longer then less of them will get thru.

1/4 Finalists should be
Kerry
Dublin
Galway
Mayo
Cork
Tyrone
Kildare
and a floater from Tipp, Donegal, Rosscommon or Monaghan.

Why? How?

Ulster has had 11 of the last 24 quarter finalists so once again you have delivered a quack theory completely in the face of facts due to the insecurity you can’t quell with regards Ulster football.

I really can’t wait to wake up tomorrow and see how this finishes.

Because if they get drawn together then one of them has to get through. If they play other sides the chances of getting thru (statistically at least) will be lessened.

Or is that beyond your understanding.

No it’s not.

Of the 8 Ulster teams that have made the All Ireland QFs through the backdoor in the past 3 years, 6 of them have done so without having to beat an Ulster team in the backdoor?

Only 2 of those 8 teams who progressed did so by meeting an Ulster side along the way - those being Cavan in 2013 and Armagh in 2014.

Donegal x2, Tyrone x2, Monaghan and Fermanagh all progressed to the All Ireland QF via the backdoor by beating sides outside of Ulster.

Why do the FACTS end up REJECTING your theory?

3 of the 18 victories picked up along the way by those teams were against Ulster sides? Why is the figure that low?

All i have to do is go back further and i turn it all upside down.

Nobody is anymore convinced by you. Repaeting nonsense doesn’t make it sense.

You’re always the coward - the facts reject your quack theories.

You’re utterly incapable of articulating an argument, all you can do is expose your inferiority and jealousy towards Ulster football.
