GAA Managerial Merrygoround Thread - Where will Rory Gallagher end up? (Part 1)

Burns later claimed he acted in a personal capacity. Which is obviously rubbish…the only thing it shows is that he knows he’s on dodgy ground, legally

Burns can’t win this case - as others have said it was braindead him intervening to block Gallagher getting a club job on the back of Facebook allegations, which the PSNI threw out. You’d have to seriously question the GAA presidents judgement over all of this.

Go woke or go broke, or both in this case

Burns will get through it with gaa by laws or that and Gallagher hasn’t a leg to stand on. Watch.

P.S. Yes, every coach should be vetted. Every coach in my club is anyway.

So what malicious falsehood has been spread about Rory Gallagher?

And what “breach of contract” has been made? Gaelic football is an amateur sport.

The IRFU terminated the contracts of Patrick Jackson and Stuart Olding, who were not convicted.

It would appear to me Gallagher hasn’t a leg to stand on. Perhaps he’s making a play for the space Joey Barton currently occupies, auditioning for a job with Spiked Online or GB News or some other right wing shitrag that glorifies abusers?

Id question Gallagher’s judgement too. Does he really want this to go to court and all the muck being raised again? I hope he has his tax affairs in order from his coaching gigs anyway

He won’t lay a glove on Burns or the GAA.

The apology will be epic.

His call for the gga Community to get behind a road being built is weird

What account did he send the email from? JBUachtarain@ gmail.com for example would certainly indicate a personal capacity but less so if it came from a Croke Park account. Anyway it’s a rookie mistake, who puts anything sensitive in an email when he could have phoned or just happened to be passing through and stopped for a chat with the club officials.

Sure all burns conveyed essentially was that Gallagher is a piece of shit. That’s a fair comment and doesn’t do any damage to Gallaghers reputation.

Hard to see how Gallagher has a leg to stand on here but as usual the headbangers are trying to shut down legitimate debate.

Burns going after this fella and Gallagher and giving Kyle Hayes, a convicted assaulter, a free pass is wrong.

Burns really misjudged this. Should have left well alone and public opinion would have saw to Gallagher with Naas.
Unless he does his research on every person training a team in GAA he’s clearly treating Gallagher differently and for something he was never charged with . .

It was mentioned that Derry and Ulster GAA got direct correspondence from the family of Gallaghers wife - that immediately makes this situation different and why Burns had to have an input. I’m not sure what Gallaghers case will be anyway, he is still a GAA member so what is he suggesting he is missing out on?

What should he do about Kyle Hayes?

Nothing.

Like he should have done with the other two.

You have to admire him showing Naas up as the stupid cunts they were to go after Gallagher.

Bump.

Burns knows exactly what kind of a cunt Gallagher is,that’s why he got involved.
