Even still

I remember when it happened and I thought it was bang out of order.
The “sketch” before it was shit and then they topped it off with that. Was highly insensitive.

What are you trying to say, that Nordies can sometimes go out of their way to find insult when none exist? Seems unlikely. It was a bit odd though.

You’re a massive snowflake though

Ah look that family has been through more than anyone should ever have to go through and if he doesn’t want to talk to the fucking apes in RTE that’s his right.
You have take the criticism on the chin though in that role. Part of the game

Agreed. Anyone reacting to Brolly is a fool, everyone knows his game. Its like getting offended on here when some lads writes a diatribe about a recently bereaved woman. Just realise some people like to be edgy and get a reaction and move on.

Harte is an odd one though.

The offending “sketch”.

Ridiculously unfunny, but coming 6 months after her murder and the fact that Harte and McArevey went to Limerick to see the Dalai Lama and spoke about that meeting as being a key factor in being able to move on from her death made the whole sketch fairly borderline in terms of being an offended snowflake or being completely insensitive to a still grieving family.

I don’t think it was borderline at all. Considering what the Harte family had been through it was fucking disgraceful. Insensitive doesn’t cover it. Spiteful and downright nasty would be closer to the truth of it. Harte is well within his rights to tell RTE to fuck off for themselves and Brolly is a cunt for sticking his beak in to defend his employer

yeah I’d be on that side of it too to be honest, but then as you see above, some people would think one should react differently and not get offended by it. I can see that point, but would think that it was a highly insensitive piece that was atrociously handled and for a “comedy piece” it didnt even tick that box.

I’m not offended by @Sidney’s thing but I am flabbergasted at it’s shitness, have you absolutely fuck all else to be doing?

Exactly. Especially by something designed specifically to cause offence. I see @Sidneys piece has already made facebook, wouldn’t be surprised if it goes viral it’s so downright edgy and controversial

What? Someone posted/shared that on FB?:joy:

@sidneys gonna be huge

I’d say between the sedentary lifestyle and tuborg he already is

It was an unsubstantiated third party allegation of historic sexual assault and racism against a man who had died suddenly that day, and a post containing deeply misogynistic undertones.

Yet the rural Gahliban were all over it giving it likes.

The hypocrisy is entirely predictable.
