"At Queenâs we didnât know if we were going to be playing the new rules or not, so we tried a few in-house, and keeping the three up, definitely changed the game.
"The difficulty was keeping the three up because their instinct was to drop back, and you were literally standing at the sideline shouting at them not to go back over the line.

Cost is the big one, charging u16 for league games is absolute horseshit.

Well I wouldnât blame anybody for not wanting to watching the nfl / rugby thing theyâve made out of Gaelic football.
Thereâs just way more games now. People will pick and choose.

Both teams were much better previously.
Iâd imagine there will be massive crowds at a lot of games this weekend for the novelty factor alone
That doesnt suit the boys narrative.
The lack of build up from the Dr McKenna Cup obviously has hit hard.
The later stages of the club championship have massively improved since they have restructured the season. Some fantastic entertainment last few weeks. When you think of it, it was total madness playing club semiâs in February and the finals on Paddyâs day.
Tradition was the only reason for it, playing your provincial final then AI Semi maybe 10 weeks later and final about 5 weeks after that was complete and utter madness.
I think there an opportunity woth the new bank holiday in February.
Theres no big events planned for that one yet
