Has an All Ireland ever been played midweek before?
The 2021 u20 hurling final was played on a Wednesday evening as well iirc. Cork and galway.

Just after finding out there a few minutes ago reading back through the Munster Championship thread that the Munster Hurling Final is getting played off at 6pm in a Saturday evening. Where is it all going to end with these split season zealots.
It’s ok lad,part time fans like yourself wouldn’t know about things like that.

Wexford will be knocked out mid June instead of late May under Derek’s new calender.

The split season and ‘Champions League’ blitz formats have really fast tracked an alarming decline of Waterford and Wexford as some way serious hurling counties.

Say it could be. They were filming it all last summer, they were over at my own club.
